SM City Consolacion will open on Friday, June 1, the second SM supermall in the expanding Metro Cebu area. This will be the fourth SM supermall in the Visayas and the 43rd in the country. SM City Consolacion has been built on a four-hectare property of what used to be the factory of ProFoods in Barangay Lamac along the Cebu North Road. SM is bringing Sam Milby, Bianca King, Jaya and other ABS-CBN stars over the weekend for the opening.
