Sam hopes to do another project with Anne

MANILA, Philippines – Actor Sam Milby believes it is about time that he and former girlfriend Anne Curtis do another project, three years after their last movie.

In an interview with Push.com.ph, Milby said he has heard of rumors that the ABS-CBN management is cooking up something for the two of them but nothing is definite yet.

“Yun din narinig ko rin pero wala pang balita kung kalian or kung itutuloy. I’m happy naman. Happy. In the four years ng ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,’ I’m excited to be working with her again kung sakaling itutuloy,” he said.

“Maging Sino Ka Man” was Milby and Curtis’ last television series together, which ended its run in 2008. After that, they teamed up for the big screen with Star Cinema’s “Babe I Love You” in 2009.

If ever the new project pushes through, Milby said it would be something which they will offer to their loyal fans.

“Of course I’d be excited to do it. Hindi lang para sa amin, kundi para sa mga fans namin kasi malakas yung mga Sam-Anne, SMF, Kismets na groups. Nakita nila 'yung love story namin sa on-screen at off-screen so para din sa mga fans who deserve that,” he said.

Teaming up with Angeline Quinto in the new romantic-comedy series Kahit Konting Pagtingin, Sam Milby said his latest project is a good start to the year for him. “I’m excited kasi it’s light, yung feel ng show. Nag-workshop na kami. Inaral ko rin yung script kung ano yung magiging character ko. Matagal na kaming magkaibigan ni Angeline kaya mas madali para sa akin ang makatrabaho siya. Natural talaga si Angeline,” he said.

The talented actor admitted that he has a hectic work schedule because he is doing two series at the same time. “Kasi nag-te-taping din ako ng Against All Odds. So parang doon mas heavy, mas drama,” he said of his upcoming drama series with Judy Ann Santos.

The Fil-American heartthrob also reacted to news that he might be offered a project with former flame Anne Curtis. “Yun din narinig ko rin pero wala pang balita kung kalian or kung itutuloy. Sam said he has no issue working with Anne with whom he parted ways over three years ago. “Yes of course I’d be excited to do it. Hindi lang para sa amin, kundi para sa mga fans namin kasi malakas yung mga Sam-Anne, SMF, Kismets na groups. Nakita nila yung love story namin sa on-screen at off-screen so para din sa mga fans who deserve that,” he added.

When asked if there was ever a chance of rekindling anything with Anne, Sam said people should respect her current relationship which is going strong. “Siyempre hindi naman puwede kasi may love life na si Anne na matagal na and dapat respetuhin natin yung relasyon nila,” he said.

Of his new series Kahit Konting Pagtingin, Sam said his on-screen chemistry with co-star Angeline stems from their close friendship off-cam, which may discount the possibility of it becoming a real-life romance. “Hindi naman imposible. Ayoko naman kayo i-mislead na may something kami na wala. I mean, matagal na kaming magkaibigan and friends lang talaga kami. Hindi naman puwede sabihin na walang puwedeng mangyari. Puwede naman,” he explained.

The 28-year-old actor revealed he and Angeline have a habit of trying of making fun of each other when they’re together. “Okay lang, ganun talaga. Masaya naman. Okay lang na inaasar niya ako kasi ganun din ako sa kanya eh. Ganun kami eh. inaasar namin ang isa’t isa,” he said.

When asked if he would be willing to help Angeline on how to speak better English, Sam said that they actually have no problem communicating in either English or Tagalog. “Magaling na siya mag-Ingles eh pero mas kailangan kong gumaling sa Tagalog dahil alam naman natin na dito sa Pilipinas. Mabuti na mas Tagalog siya kaysa Ingles para matututo ako,” he shared

ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2012

ABS-CBN has released this much-awaited Christmas Station ID for 2012 on October 17

The Kapamilya Network’s theme for this year’s Christmas station ID is “Lumiliwanag ang Mundo sa Kwento ng Pasko,” and it highlights how the Filipino spirit always shines through despite calamities that ravage our country.

The theme song “Kwento ng Pasko” was performed by the country’s brightest singers – Sarah Geronimo, Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vina Morales, Billy Crawford; the Champions Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Jed Madela, Christian Bautista, Bugoy Drilon, Marcelito Pomoy, Jovit Baldivino; the Sessionistas Aiza Seguerra, Richard Poon, Juris, Princess, Sitti, Kean Cipriano and Bamboo; kid singers from ABS-CBN Star Magic; X Factor Philippines Grand Winner KZ Tandingan, Daniel Padilla and Piolo Pascual. This year’s Christmas anthem was written by Robert Labayen, ABS-CBN’s Vice President of Creative Communications Management with music by Marcus and Amber Davis.

Other Kapamilya stars featured in the Station ID include Coco Martin, Toni Gonzaga, Judy Ann Santos, Jodi Sta.
