ASAP 2012 Celebrates Chinese New Year this Sunday
“ASAP 2012” welcomes the Year of the Water Dragon through a star-studded double celebration of Chinese New Year live at the Quirino Grandstand this Sunday (January 22), at 12:15nn and a grand New Year countdown at 8pm.
Make some noise and attract all the good vibes with the biggest and brightest Kapamilya stars led by ASAP Kapamilya mainstays Gary Valenciano, ZsaZsa Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Luis Manzano, Kim Chiu, Jericho Rosales, KC Concepcion, Cristine Reyes, Sam Milby, and Sarah Geronimo.
To kick off the party, “ASAP 2012″ throws a grand farewell to the cast of top-rating Kapamilya teleserye, “Ikaw ay Pag-ibig,” led by child wonders Zaijan Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Mutya Orquia, and Louise Abuel, as they thank and invite fans for their finale week. Also gracing the ASAP concert stage are the lead stars of the newest Primetime Bida drama series, “E-Boy” that include Bugoy Cariño, Ariel Rivera, Agot Isidro, Jomari Yllana, and Valerie Concepcion.
Have a festive time with the stellar cast members of ABS-CBN’s two newest Kapamilya Gold offerings and one Star Cinema movie–Maja Salvador, Patrick Garcia and Jason Abalos of “Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin;” Empress, Ejay Falcon, and Nikki Gil of “Mundo Man Ay Magunaw;” and Maja, Matteo Guidecelli, and Xian Lim of the film “My Cactus Heart.”
Complete the Chinese New Year with a string of concert performances including the explosive song number of Arnel Pineda; world-class blowout of ‘Mamma Mia!’ cast; big time concert acts from Christian Bautista, Jed Madela, Erik Santos, Karylle, Yeng Constantino, Zia Quizon, Vincent Bueno, Boys R Boys, ASAP Pinoy Champs, and ASAP Sessionistas.
