MANILA – Actor Sam Milby denied that he is dating 2013 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Ariella Arida.
This comes after the beauty queen was spotted at Milby’s house just recently along with Pia Wurtzbach, who was the competition’s first runner-up.
In an interview with entertainment website Pep.ph, Milby said he has been friends with Wurtzbach for a long time and it just so happened that Arida was with her when he invited her over.
Wurtzbach is also a member of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
“Hindi naman date, hang out lang kami. 'Yung longtime friend ko, si Pia and kasama niya si Ara… Yeah, I invited them. They had an event. I haven't seen Pia in a long time din, I've known Pia a long time na,” he said.
Asked if he has plans to pursue Arida, Milby said: “First time nag-hang out kami, [tapos] nagbibigay [na] ng malisya. Wala namang plano, wala pa. I don't even have her number, [not] textmates like that, no, wala. It was a random night na nag-hang out kami. It wasn't like kaming dalawa lang.”
“Kung sakaling mag-hang out kami at may something, tsaka ko na lang sasabihin sa inyo na, 'O, there's something, maybe something.' Pero first time naming mag-hang out. Huwag magbibigay ng malisya na meron kami,” he added.
Despite this, Milby only has good words for the Laguna beauty.
“Maganda talaga si Ara, beautiful. A simple person. She's very simple, she doesn't seem to be maarte. It's my first time to hang out with her, I don't know her that well; but very simple, very nice,” he said.
