KC Concepcion was very happy for the appreciation given by the people who watched her first movie with Sam Milby titled Forever and a Day.
Their film had its premiere night last Tuesday, June 14, in Cinema 10 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
Forever and a Day, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, is one of the 18th anniversary offerings of Star Cinema.
Celebrities spotted during the event were Kim Chiu, Maja Salvador, Matteo Guidicelli, Pokwang, Jericho Rosales, Donita Rose, Miriam Quiambao, and Star Powerwinner Angeline Quinto. Gladys Reyes came with her husband Christopher Roxas while Julius Babao was seen with his wife Tintin Bersola-Babao.
Both KC's parents, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, were not present during the event.
However, Garrie Concepcion, Gabby's daughter with Grace Ibuna, walked down the red carpet that night.
KC says that she was touched by the presence of her sister that night.
"Si Garrie is so sweet. I know that she's always been looking for an 'Ate,' like my two sisters."
"I guess nakakapag-usap lang kami ng mas madali in a way kasi magka-edad kami but more than that siyempre responsibilidad ko rin naman na kahit pa-paano na makilala siya at magkakilala kami."
"So 'yong mga ganito ini-invite ko siya. It's a big milestone, personal milestone, gusto ko kasama siya 'dun."
KC became emotional as she thanked her maternal grandmother, Elaine Cuneta, for making the effort to attend the red-carpet affair.

"Siyempre kasi matagal din akong naghintay bago ako gumawa ng pelikula ulit and malaking bagay sa 'kin na nagagawa ko pa rin ng lahat ng ito na 'yong lola ko napapanood pa rin niya."
"Siya 'yong dahilan kung bakit ako nagkaroon ng interes mag-artista kahit na medyo tutol 'yong mommy ko dun, pero alam ko rin naman na my mom is supportive of what I'm doing."
KC's boyfriend, Piolo Pascual, made it a point to attend the premiere night even though he had just arrived from his European trip.
The TV host-actress said about her boyfriend: "Nagte-textan nga kami habang pinapalabas 'yong pelikula. I'm thankful na kahit hindi kami madalas magkita gumagawa kami kahit pa-paano ng way para magkita kami."
That night, KC was seated her leading man, Sam Milby, while Piolo was seated with Pokwang and Mr. Johnny Manahan of Star Magic.
Piolo was heard saying that he was amazed by KC's performance and her chemistry with Sam.
To this, KC responded by saying, "Nag-uumpisa naman 'yong chemistry sa pagka-kaibigan kung totoo 'yong pagka-kaibigan ninyo at totoo 'yong pakikitungo ninyo sa isa't-isa siguro lalabas at lalabas na rin 'yon."
QUIET FILM. PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press had a chance to talk to KC after the premiere night, during the cast party held at the Chef's Quarter restaurant in Megamall.
"Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat na nandito, sumusuporta, nagpapakita ng pagmamahal at appreciation dito sa ginawa naming pelikula na matagal na naming kinukwento sa inyo sa mga shows ng ABS-CBN."
"Finally nakita na rin namin kayo in person. Sa lahat ng mga nandito sa SM Megamall ngayong premiere night, maraming salamat po sa malaking inspirasyon na binigay ninyo sa amin sa pagpasok pa lang dito."
KC was pleased to know that some viewers cried upon watching her key scenes in the movie.
"Oo nga sabi ko nga, parang hindi lang tissue ang kailangan ninyo pati gamot pampakalma sabi ko."
"Pero 'yon nga 'yong maganda sa movie na ito, I guess, ano siya, quiet film at pangarap kong magkaroon ng quiet role na nagawa ko dito sa pelikulang ito."
"Tahimik ang karakter si Raffy and napamahal talaga ako, as in ang hirap niyang bitawan, si Raffy."
"Sa mga makaka-appreciate ng performance ko dito salamat sa inyo but more than that napakaganda ng kwento."
"I believe that there's so many, maraming artista na magagaling at totally mas magaling sa 'kin pero kung nagawa kong ikwento ang storya ni Raffy at lumabas kayo sa sinehan na masaya, then I'm happy na rin."
KC added viewers will be able to relate with the plot of Forever and a Day.
"Sa lahat ng mga nandito sa Pilipinas lalo ang mga taga-Mindanao napaka-ganda ng lugar ninyo. Maraming salamat sa inyo na winelcome ninyo kami sa Bukidnon, sa Iligan, sa Cagayan de Oro.
"Ito po 'yong isang pelikula na kahit sino talagang pwedeng pagdaanan and it talks about love and not giving up."
