Sam Milby: The actor is busy again

After almost two years of being inactive in movies and television, 2013 will be an exciting and hectic year for Sam. With multiple projects on his hands, he is as busy now as he was when he first came out of the Pinoy Big Brother house.

Sam is headlining the top rating romantic comedy primetime soap Kahit Konting Pagtingin, with Angeline Quinto and Paulo Avelino on ABS-CBN.

Do you know that he now has a tag and it is “Comedy Romantic Heartthrob.” He only smiles when we tease him.

Sam is also starring in Against All Odds—another primetime soap with Judy Ann Santos. “It’s a dream come true,” says Sam. “You will see a totally different Sam, the reason why it is very challenging and exciting for me at the same time.

Sam finished shooting his scenes in Death March, his fourth independently produced film, to be released in cinemas this year. The film also brought out another challenging yet refreshing character for Sam. Co-starring with him are Zanjoe Marudo and Jason Abalos, among others.

In a few months time, Sam will start shooting for a new movie project with Anne Curtis under Star Cinema.

Despite his busy schedule, he still manages to record the theme song of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s upcoming movie, Nasa ‘Yo Na Ang Lahat. He was Star Cinema’s first choice to sing the theme.

Last year (2012), “Hindi Kita liwan” his first single from the album Be Mine (Star Records) won Best Ballad in the 26th Awit Awards. It was one of Sam’s greatest dreams, to have an Awit Award trophy. His music will soon be heard overseas, as he prepares to release another solo album for Star Records to be released in other Asian countries.
