MANILA, Philippines - Sa darating na Nov. 24 ay ika-apat na taon na pala ng SunPIOLOgy Run na ng Sun Life Financial na gaganapin sa Venice Piazza sa McKinley Hills, Taguig City. Pero ngayong taon ay mataas ang adrenaline ng lahat ng magsisitakbo sa finish line dahil may Star Magic Gives Back, isang musical special, sa gabi.
Makitakbo kasama ang celebrity ambassador na si Piolo Pascual at pagkatapos ay makisaya sa iba pang Star Magic talents tulad nina Pokwang, John “Sweet” Lapus, Sam Milby, Khalil Ramos, Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Enrique Gil, JM De Guzman, Alex Castro, Bryan Termulo, Myrtle Sarrosa, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, DreiFelix, Megan Young, Jolo Estrada, Bangs Garcia, Empress, Paolo Avelino, Jason Abalos, Young JV, Rayver Cruz, Matteo Guidicelli, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Nyoy Volante, Jed Madela, Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Maja Salvador.
“We’re very happy to work with Star Magic to make the SunPIOLOgy Run even more exciting, as this will ultimately benefit the families and students we are supporting. We hope that this year, we can raise even more funds as more stars celebrate the values of giving back,” sabi ni Mylene Lopa, Sun Life chief marketing officer.
Dahil sa diwa ng Kapaskuhan, ibinabalik ng SunPIOLOgy ang anumang kikitain sa takbuhan at show para sa Hebreo Foundation scholars habang ang Star Magic naman ay magbibigay sa Lingkod Kapamilya ng ABS-CBN. Beneficiary din ang Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) at Sanctuary Center.
Kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Sun Life ay ang pagdiriwang din ng Star Magic sa kanilang 20th year.
“This benefit show, which we started last year, is a fitting culmination to our anniversary. By joining forces with Sun Life’s SunPIOLOgy run, we hope to attract more people to share their blessings while having fun this holiday season,” sabi ni Piolo sa presscon kamakailan.
Ang SunPIOLOgy Run ay brain child ng Kapamilya actor-runner at nakatulong na siyang makalikom ng higit sa kalahating milyong piso nung isang taon na kanilang ibinigay sa iba’t ibang charities kabilang na ang Elsie Gaches Village, Lingkod Kapamilya, RSCC, Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines, at ang Sanctuary Center. Sa pakikipagtulungan din ng 71 Dreams Foundation ng ABS-CBN ay nakapag-sponsor ang Star Magic ng feeding program sa mahigit na isandaang residente sa Fairview, Quezon City.
