MANILA, Philippines – Hunk actor Sam Milby proved to everyone that all is now well between him and former girlfriend, Anne Curtis, even if the latter already has a new partner.
A photo recently surfaced on Twitter where Milby, Curtis and her current boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff, were all together at the birthday party of celebrity stylist Liz Uy.
In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Thursday, Milby said that nobody should be surprised with that photo since he is not bitter over Curtis and Heussaff’s relationship.
“Si Sir Biboy ang nag-tweet niyan. I mean, even when I was there, talagang wala kaming problema or anything like that,” said Milby.
The actor even proved that there is really no bad blood between him and Heussaff.
“I even went up to Erwann and said, 'Hey bro'! How are you doing?' Ganoon lang. Nothing bad at all. Fun naman,” he said.
Curtis and Milby’s separation was one of the most publicized breakups in show business. Since the 2 decided to go separate ways last 2008, Milby has remained single while Curtis has found a new love in Heussaff.
Asked how Milby spent Valentine’s Day, the actor replied: “Hindi naman Valentine’s Day para sa akin. Ano siya, Single Awareness Day. Hindi naman sad kasi masarap talaga ang may love life pero sa kasalukuyan wala akong kasintahan. Wala akong love life.”

‘Bulong’, starring Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban was Star Cinema’s first movie this 2011.
As of February 13, Sunday, the horror-comedy has grossed P52.46 Million on its 2nd week run.
The 2nd movie offering of Star Cinema (together with Viva Films) this year is a romantic-comedy film starring Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo. Other cast includes Matteo Guidicelli, Christopher De Leon, Joey Marquez and Dawn Zuleta. The film will be premiered next month.

Sam Milby: ‘I love the adrenaline rush I get from riding.
MANILA, Philippines - To say that a life in showbiz is fast-paced would be an understatement. Stars are always in a hurry to get from one commitment to the next. In that case, you would think that when choosing a hobby Sam Milby would have gone for something peaceful and quiet, like chess, fishing or hiking. But no, he dove headfirst into the high-octane world of motocross riding. And he is loving everything about it. “I’m a speed demon,” he says enthusiastically. “I love the adrenaline rush you get from riding.”
“I needed a hobby,” explains Sam when asked what sparked his interest in motocross. “Something to get into just for the fun of it.” He had always been a sports enthusiast, even when he was still living in the US. He started figure skating when he was just three years old, and got into wrestling when he entered high school at Tippecanoe High School in his hometown of Troy, Ohio. But even as a teenager, he was already interested in motocross. His father, who is also a athletic, encouraged his son’s interest by buying him a bike when he was just 10.
Sam eventually quit figure skating to focus on motocross. That he did so wasn’t surprising, considering the fact that riding is in his blood, so to speak. “My dad and brothers also did motocross racing,” he explains. “When my dad let me try it na-hook na ako agad.” After his dad bought him his first bike, he lived and breathed riding until his bike was stolen. “I had joined four races already when my bike was stolen then I stopped for about 10 years.”
But last year, Sam made friends with some people who ride regularly at the Speed World MX Circuit track. He has been going there since last year to indulge his passion for riding. He loves the sport so much that even his numerous wipeouts haven’t scared him into giving it up. Sam has broken his hand and hit a tree while riding, but he insists he’s careful when he gets on a bike and that his wipeouts just sound a lot worse than they actually are. “Technically I haven’t had that bad a crash to get traumatized,” he grins.
Sam recounts one of his worse wipeouts. “When I fell off, I threw the bike. I was fine when I landed, but then the back tire hit my knee. May problema na ako sa tuhod from the last time I fell, which was in the States pa. I need to get it X-rayed na nga. Anyway, when the back tire hit my knee, that made my knee a lot worse. Something with the joint siguro or a small fracture. It’s not that bad, it’s just sore.”

For the past four years, Sam has been seriously engaged in motocross; lately, he’s been training with the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (Namssa). “I always ride with Kenneth San Andres and his dad Jun. Kenneth is a national champion,” Sam says. Last year, he rode only five times. This year, he seems determined to make up for lost time. Barely a month into the new year, he had joined at least three meets. Racing runs in the family, he says. “My dad Lloyd introduced me to the sport. My brothers Bret and Bryan are also into racing. I started riding at age 10.” He admits he has fallen off the bike “many, many times. Once in the US, I ran into a tree and broke my left hand.” Still, he hits the tracks. “I have a need for speed,” he enthuses. "He [Sam] was the one na super all out ako. Pero siyempre, you know, at the end of the day, kung sino ang mapapangasawa ko, that's when I will give the title na 'my eternal love,'" explains Anne Curtis about Sam Milby being her "greatest love."
Isa si Anne Curtis sa female stars na masasabing "sensational" palagi ang lovelife. Hangga't maaari rin ay isini-share niya sa publiko kapag may lovelife siya, tulad ngayon sa kanyang current boyfriend na si Erwan Heussaff.
Pero ano nga ba ang meaning ng love para sa kanya?
"Love is when you go all out but you still leave a little something for yourself," sagot ni Anne sa presscon ng bagong niyang primetime series sa ABS-CBN na Green Rose.
Ginanap ang presscon kaninang tanghali, February 9, sa 14th floor ng ELJ Bldg. sa loob ng ABS-CBN compound.
Aminado si Anne na kapag in love siya ay "all out" talaga siya.
"Oo, hanggang ngayon. Pero natuto ako to leave a little something for myself," sabi niya.
THE MEN IN HER LIFE. Nang tanungin kung sinu-sino ang naging boyfriends niya before Erwan ay hindi nag-atubiling banggitin ng aktres ang kanilang mga pangalan.
"Si Oyo [Sotto], and then si Richard [Gutierrez], si Paolo [Araneta], and then si Sam [Milby], and then pang-five ko na siya, Erwan."
Sa limang lalaking naugnay sa buhay niya, wala pa ba siyang masasabi na "eternal love" niya?
"Alam mo, lahat naman yun, ila-love mo at that time. Parang I was talking about it nga... Parang at one point in your life, you realize na when you read a letter or an old letter, you realize na, yes, you love the person and, at that time, you were so strong.

"I think marriage is always a beautiful thing, especially when you find the right person. So, happy ako for Oyo, happy ako for Tin na, finally, they are both settling down."

"Pati si Oyo, tinext ko siya noong birthday niya. Sabi ko, 'Happy birthday and congratulations, balita ko ikakasal ka na.'

"Sabi ko, 'Oh, my gosh, congratulations!' Sabi ko, happy ako for him."
Hindi raw siya invited sa kasal nina Oyo at Kristine, pero okay lang daw sa kanya ito.
"Hindi ako na-offend kasi hindi ko naman sila nakakasama. I mean, mao-offend ako kung ka-chika ko sila, pero hindi ako invited. But since hindi ko naman sila kausap every day or even every week, hindi."
ON SETTLING DOWN. Nang ikinasal ba si Oyo, wala ba sa kanya 'yong feeling na sana siya rin or kailan kaya siya ikakasal?
"Hindi... Alam mo, even yung mga unang batch ng kaibigan ko—si Chesca [Garcia], si Danica [Sotto], ako at saka si Liz [Uy]—hindi pa. Pero we still have our other batch of friends na kaedad ko nga, na parang iba rin ang mindset ng mga babae ngayon. They are more career-oriented. So, parang iba ang priorities ngayon. Hindi ko alam kung bakit.
"Noong tinatanong ko si Tita Dina, Mama ko, ang babata nila noong ikinasal at nagkaanak. Although it was my dream before na 25, di ba, gusto ko na sanang mag-asawa, mag-baby na?
"Now that I'm turning 26 on the 17th, parang yung priorities changed.
"Hindi ako nagmamadali. Pero hindi ko rin naman ide-deny ang chance kung darating yun sa akin.
"Kasi, I'm 26 na rin naman. Ayoko rin naman na 32 na ako, wala pa rin akong baby. Parang gusto ko rin naman..."
Nakikita ba niya na mangyayari ito sa present boyfriend niyang si Erwan Heussaff?
"Ayoko nang mag-expect dahil nag-expect ako dati, pero hindi nangyari, di ba?" sabi ni Anne.

Paliwanag ni Anne, "He [Sam] was the one na super all out ako. Pero siyempre, you know, at the end of the day, kung sino ang mapapangasawa ko, that's when I will give the title na 'my eternal love.'"
Hindi kaya magselos si Erwan na si Sam pa rin ang tinuturing niyang greatest love?
"No, no, no... I think when you have the greatest love, the love will always remain, but you're not in love with the person," sabi ng young actress.
