MANILA, Philippines – For its fifth year, the Star Magic Ball brought together the brightest stars in Philippine entertainment.
Held at the Peninsula Manila in Makati on Saturday, stars like Teresa Loyzaga, Lovi Poe, Heart Evangelista, Agot Isidro and Gretchen Barreto graced the event.
Star Magic artists Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee, Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Sam Concepcion, Enrique Gil and Sam Milby also attended the annual ball.
Melissa Ricks, Matt Evans, Pokwang, Gretchen Fullido, Jessy Mendiola, Lauren and Megan Young, Jodi Sta. Maria, Rafael Rosel, Ejay Falcon, Empress Schuck, Yeng Constantino and Jake Cuenca were all present, donning glamorous gowns and suits.
ABS-CBN’s talent show “Pilipinas Got Talent” season 1 and 2 winners Jovit Baldivino and Marcelito Po Moy were also spotted at the event.

This was a song for the Close Up to fame campaign, and part of the Cd, 'Barbie - the singles.' My mom (00:36), brother (Mark) (1:51, lower left) , and cousins (Chiara and Francesca) (00:36), and P.A., Marites (2:39 in black) are all in the video -- so it makes it more special. Sam Milby was the guy in the previous close up commercial, so he was chosen to star here. He was saying that he wanted to be a musician and was hoping to make it in the Philippine Music scene. 2 months later, he joined Pinoy Big Brother and became an actor/musician shortly after that

Celebrities visit CWC during Penafrancia Fiesta

Thousands of devotees, pilgrims, guests and tourists flocked to Naga City, Camarines Sur, for the annual celebration of Peñafrancia festival. The said festival is observed in honor of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, the patroness of the Bicol Region, for nearly three hundred years. It's a time honoured tradition for many Bicolanos and guests to attend the mass at the Saint John De Evangelist Cathedral before the Lady of Penafrancia is taken to the river for the famous fluvial procession along the Bicol river that will then take Her to the Basilica Minore. After wards there is a mass that is attended by thousands of devotees to comemorate the final day of the festival. Processions, parades, beauty pageant, concerts and other activities are among the highlights which attract visitors.

Celebrities took time out to unwind at the Camarines Sur Watersports Complex before their scheduled guest appearances during the Peñafrancia festivities in Naga City . While in Camarines Sur, they stayed at the various world-class accommodations within the Provincial Capitol Complex. Tourists were delighted at the sight of the unexpected presence of their favorite celebrities and therefore taking the rare opportunity to take pictures with them.
