Sam confessed however, that he could have done better in some of the critical parts of the film. “Siyempre I'm my own worst critic. I know there are some scenes na nakita ko na feeling ko I could have done better. And ako yung tipo na ayokong panoorin ang sarili ko [na umaarte].” Nevertheless, he’s happy that those who have watched Forever And A Day appreciated the hard work of the whole team of Star Cinema. “It's a great feeling knowing na yung mga tao lumapit at sinabi na, 'Umiyak ako ha!' Ibig sabihin effective yungacting mo and we were able to do our job, which is to tell a good story to the moviegoers.”
Another thing that Sam’s really grateful for was the fact that the viewers loved his team-up with KC Concepcion. “It was quite a journey para sa amin ni KC. Yung una kasi naisip ko, 'Paano ba to? We're good friends' andparang we look at each other as just friends. I guess it's easier if you don’t know the person. Actually, medyo hiniwalay kami [ni KC] sa set so that we'll be more focused on our characters. There were a lot of times na pinagalitan kasi kami ni direk dahil lagi kaming nagkwekwentuhan off cam. It’s a good thing that we were separated in between takes though kasi naging maganda ang resulta ng movie dahil din dun.”
