Sam Milby and Cristine Reyes pair up for the first time for Maalaala Mo Kaya’s May 7 episode. The episode is a love story that is so intense to that Sam got nervous while taping one of his scenes with Cristine. “May isang eksena na nahirapan ako ma-feelyung eksena tapos kinabahan din ako sa mga linya. Kaya ako parang,‘Sorry ha, pasensya na, paulit-paulit yung take.’ I felt bad, pero sabi naman niya, ‘Okay lang, okay lang. Kung kailangan mo ng tulong, nandito lang ako.’ Magaling siya umarte. Kahit first time namin working together, para sa akin, we really feel comfortable with each other.”Sam plays the role of Charles who has a great passion for music. But a fire leaves Charles severely injured, including his fingers which affects his ability to play the piano. Since then, his self-esteem suffers a great deal and he often has difficulty getting into a serious relationship because of his insecurities. But just when he thought he would never love again, he meets the beautiful Andrea who’ll encourage him to revive his passion for music. But is love enough to make Charles forget about his past heartaches that seemed to have scarred him for life?
