KC on ending world hunger and Piolo Pascual

KC Concepcion was famous even before she was born, being the child of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion. Still, she has slowly earned a name for herself as an actress, singer and host.

KC first ventured into the limelight by becoming a stage actress, commercial model and VJ. She eventually tested her acting chops on ABS-CBN via Lovers in Paris and Maalaala Mo Kaya.

KC will soon be seen in a soap opera, titled Alta, with Sam Milby, Gretchen Barretto, Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban. Aside from Alta, KC is doing a movie with Sam under the helm of director Cathy Molina.

Also known for supporting causes, KC was commended for her trip in Uganda, Africa, as part of her obligations as National Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations’ World Food Program (WFP). She is presently promoting WFP’s WeFeedback campaign, where all interested donors can share at least P15 of their meal to unfortunate kids worldwide.

Tell me about this wonderful project you’re involved in with the UN.

The latest is the United Nations’ World Food Program WeFeedback campaign. It’s one way of informing anyone that they can help. Like it shows people that what they eat can be equal to how many children you feed. Like, you go to the web site and enter the lunch you ate and a figure will come out, like how many kids can be fed for that amount you spent.

So it shows that people like me can help.

Yes, a little help goes a long, long way. You can see the amount and then on the web site, if you want to take it one step further, you can donate the exact amount, or even any amount for the kids.

It’s a good thing that you use your name for such worthy causes.
