As
the story progresses, Sam said he had some difficulty shooting scenes
in which he had to get violent with Judy Ann Santos who plays the role
of Anessa, his wife. “Dito ang first time din na role na may ginawa akong bugbog sa babae. Lalo na nung mga first time na
may eksena kami na ganun, parang nahihiya ako sa kanya kasi minsan pag
andun ako sa eksena, mahirap para sa akin na idaya yung paghawak ko,
yung malambot lang pero hindi. Malakas talaga yung paghawak ko, she lets me and pagkatapos ng eksena parang nako-konsensya na ako. sabi ko, ‘Okay ba kayo? Sorry ha.’ Nahiya ako sa kanya pero sobrang bait siya sa akin and she allowed me and it was okay with her. Tinutulungan niya ako. She’s perfected the craft of acting so working with her has been inspiring, it’s been a learning process para sa akin and a huge privilege,” he shared.
Sam said he feels very privileged to be Juday’s personal choice as leading man. “What else can you say, basta being handpicked by the queen, you can’t help but say I feel honored, privileged, and thankful. Sana lang hindi ko siya madi-disappoint si Juday, sa management, to everyone. I’m challenged by myself. I’m challenged by the management, sa mga viewers, kay Juday. Siyempre si Juday she’s mastered the art of acting and to be working with her, the Queen of Pinoy soap operas and ka-eksena ko siya, I’m just pressuring myself to really improve kasi gusto ko talaga ipakita na I’m taking this seriously. Gusto ko talaga mag-improve sa craft and ipakita na kaya kong gawin yung ganitong role. I feel honored to be working with her and yung puri niya sa akin,” he said...
