Angel, Vice, Kris now have over 1M Twitter followers | ABS-CBN News | Latest Philippine Headlines, Breaking News, Video, Analysis, Features

MANILA, Philippines – Aside from actress Anne Curtis, three more Kapamilya stars have garnered more than a million followers on microblogging site Twitter.


They are actress Angel Locsin, comedian Vice Ganda and Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.
As of posting time, Locsin has 1,114,346 Twitter followers while Vice Ganda has 1,069,112. Aquino, meanwhile, has 1,000,548 followers.


Aquino seemed surprised when she learned that she has over a million followers on Twitter.
"Wow, more than 1 million Twitter followers! Thank you," she tweeted.


Last April, Curtis was named as the first Filipino celebrity who has garnered 1 million followers on Twitter.
To date, she has 1,895,683 followers.


Other local celebrities who have a huge following on Twitter include Sam Milby (939,767 followers), KC Concepcion (826,336 followers), Angelica Panganiban (855,906 followers) and Bianca Gonzalez (817,490 followers).


Early this year, a study released by ComScore Inc. revealed that the Philippines is among the top 10 users of social networking site Twitter in the world.
