Natatawa ang acoustic heartthrob na si Sam Milby tungkol sa kumakalat na balitang nililigawan niya angMy Binondo Girl lead actress na si Kim Chiu.

Nagsimula ang usap-usapan na ito nang biruin si Sam ng TV host na si Kris Aquino sa kanyang morning show naKris TV. Pabiro kasing 

iminungkahi ng host kay Sam na ligawan si Kim.

Bagamat ikinatuwa ito ni Sam, ipinaliwanag naman niya na hindi totoo ang balita.

"Natutuwa ako kasi si Ate Kris naman, love na love kay Kim.

"Para sabihin [puwede] ako kay Kim, ibig sabihin she likes me," sabi ni Sam sa panayam sa kanya ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang media matapos niyang mag-renew ng endorsement contract sa Dermablend kahapon, Agosto 16, sa Mario's Restaurant, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

Pagkatapos ang muli niyang nilinaw, "Friends lang kami ni Kim.

"Hindi ibig sabihin na walang puwedeng mangyari.

"Pero ayaw ko rin na, you know, to put any color to what we have kasi talagang friends lang kami."

Ibig sabihin ba nito na imposible magkaroon siya ng espesyal na relasyon sa dalagang aktres?

Sagot ni Sam, "Hindi ibig sabihin na walang chance. You can't say that. But we're really just friends."

MANILA, Philippines – Singer Angeline Quinto cannot help but smile when she talked about her newest music video, which she shot with hunk actor Sam Milby.

"Ito pong ginagawa namin ni Sam na music video po, ito po 'yung isa sa bago kong kanta na Christmas song. Kasama po siya sa album ng Star Records," she said in an interview aired on Cinema One's "Cinema News" on Sunday.

Quinto said she was not expecting Milby to be cheerful during the shoot because she initially thought the actor was the serious type.

"Nakakatuwa po kasi ito ang unang beses na nakatrabaho ko si Sam. Hindi ko in-expect na makulit pala siya katrabaho kasi noong una akala ko medyo seryoso siya eh," she said.

Aside from her newest music video, Quinto also talked about her movie with showbiz crush Coco Martin.

"'Yung movie po namin ni Coco hanggang ngayon po eh ginagawa pa rin pero sobrang masaya po ako kasi unti-unti po akong maraming natututunan sa bawat shooting namin. Natutuwa ako kasi alam ko sa sarili ko na naibibigay ko ang best ko," she said.

She also clarified her statement on "The Buzz" last week that she is courting Martin.

"Hindi naman po. Pero kasi pinapakita ko lang naman po ang talagang nararamdaman ko para sa tao. Hindi naman po talagang nanliligaw, basta inaamin ko naman po talaga na may paghanga ako," she said.

MANILA, Philippines – Fans of Sam Milby can stop worrying about his health after the actor revealed that he is now feeling better.

In an exclusive interview with Cinema One's "Cinema News" aired on Sunday, Milby said he suffered from headache and body pain last week.

"Yesterday maaga ako nagising and then parang okay naman ako. Tapos gusto kong umidlip ulit. Paggising ko, ewan ko sobrang sakit ng tiyan at ulo ko," he said.

"Hindi ako makagalaw, nakahiga lang ako. Akala ko kakayanin ko pero hindi eh. Nakahiga lang talaga ako. Hindi ko alam kung dahil sa kinain ko," he added.

Milby said this was the reason why he was not able to attend the 25th PMPC Star Awards for TV, which was held last Wednesday.

"Sayang, siyempre excited ako para sa number na iyan eh. Actually naligo na ako, nakabihis na tapos pagbaba ko, humiga ako tapos hindi ko talaga kaya," he said.

The actor apologized to all his fans who were expecting him at the event.

"I felt really bad na naka-set ang number na iyan hours lang before pero hindi ko kinaya. Sorry sa inyo and sa Star Awards, sorry po," he said.

Makisaya sa “Happy Yipee Yehey!” ngayong Sabado, lalo’t magdiriwang ng kaarawan ang dalawa sa pinaka-minamahal na hosts ng programa, sina Randy Santiago at Bianca Manalo.

Samu’t-saring sorpresa at rebelasyon ang tiyak na magpapasaya sa ating birthday celebrants, lalo na’t may mga production numbers silang inihanda. Kung si Bianca ay may rebelsayon, si Randy naman ay sasalang sa isang kapana-panabik na “bukingan” session, kasama ang kanyang mga ka-tropang sina John Estrada at Rico J Puno.

Lalo pang sasaya ang tanghali sa pagbisita ng mga gwapong aktor na sina Sam Milby at Gerald Anderson.

Huwag din palampasin ang kulitan ng mga hosts sa huling monthly finals ng “Miss KB,” kung saan makikipag-sabayan ang mga ulirang kasambahay sa kanilang pinaka-aabangang talent portion. Hindi rin magpapatalo ang pagtatagisan ng galing at talino ng nalalabing apat na kalahok sa “Batang Genius.”

Jericho, happy for Sam

Jericho Rosales is happy for his fellow Kapamilya artist and friendSam Milby who is currently pursuing his Hollywood dream.

Jericho and Sam have always been vocal about their hopes of making it in Hollywood, and are working hard to reach their goal.

Jericho topbilled the international movie “Subject: I Love You,” featuring Hollywood stars Dean Cain, Dante Basco and Briana Evigan. He enrolled in an acting class at New York Film Academy last August.

Meanwhile, Sam will stay in the US for three months starting February 2012 for more auditions and to meet other network executives. Sam gave up big projects in the Philippines since he thinks prospects of making it in Hollywood are “very promising.”

On being compared to Sam

“Kino-compare ako kay Sam kasi we both went to the States. I’m very happy for Sam. It’s good to have that opportunity. Wala ka naman masamang tinapay doon. It’s good if he opens door, just like what Cesar Montano has done before. I wish him all the best,” Jericho said at the press launch of his newest endorsement, Vantage Double-bladed Razors, at Area 05 in Tomas Morato, Quezon City on November 24.

Jericho thinks Sam has an advantage in Hollywood since he was born and raised in the US. Jericho adds that his freind is very familiar with the culture and language there.

“First of all, pasok na pasok siya doon kasi yung accent niya and everything. So, he won’t have a hard time. And he really wanted it, so it’s good. It’s an opportunity for him and I want to support my fellow actors,” Jericho reveals.

Acting class in the US

Jericho shared that he never had the chance to audition in the U.S. due to lack of time, but he learned how acting auditions work.

“Yung pinunta ko doon sa States, it’s always good to enhance yourself pagdating sa trabaho mo. And acting is something na hindi mo dapat pabayaan,” Jericho points out.

Do comparisons with Sam affect him?

“Hindi naman ako naapektuhan. I just don’t want people to create issue,” Jericho replies.

He insists that people should stop creating issues and rumors and just support him and Sam instead.

“We should all be happy, nasa isang sector lang tayo ng industriya. We have a dying industry, kung ibabase ko sa mga storya ng mga beterano. So the best thing we can do is be happy and be supportive of each other,” Jericho goes on.

Ipinagtapat ng aktor na si Sam Milby na pupunta siya sa Amerika sa Pebrero sa susunod na taon. Mamamalagi ng tatlong buwan doon si Sam para sa subukan ang career sa Hollywood.

Nananalangin daw ang binata na sana ay magtagumpay siya roon. “It’s my first time, I haven’t been there yet but I’m having high hopes and you know, with the positive feedback from people that I already met, I’m being positive so sana naman it will go well,” pahayag ni Sam.

Nilinaw din ng actor-singer ang mga balitang kasama na siya sa cast ng ilang sikat na series sa Hollywood. “I know a lot of people are thinking din, Ay! Anong show mo? Kasali ka sa Vampire Diaries ganun-ganun. Hindi naman, ayoko namang isipin ng mga tao na may work na ako. Hindi nga eh, it’s just parang nakilala ko na ang cast and directors and ‘yun ang importante. Ang gagawin ko actually is auditions, ‘yun ang gagawin ko for the first three months, but there’s no guaranteed work,” paliwanag ng binata.

Hindi man siya sigurado ay pagbubutihin naman daw ni Sam ang lahat ng kanyang gagawin pagpunta sa US ay makamit ang kanyang pangarap na magkaroon ng proyekto sa Hollywood. “It’s a very good gamble and I feel positive about it. I’m really up to the challenge. Alam kong napakahirap talagang pumasok sa Hollywood but I’m excited. It is my dream and I believe that if I really work hard and I really push myself as much as I can, I think anybody, if he really puts his mind to it and really works hard for it, I think he can achieve anything. Suwerte ako dahil I feel inspired already,” dagdag pa ni Sam.

Samantala, hindi na makakasama si Sam sa bagong teleseryeng Alta katulad ng mga napabalita noon.

Napunta na kay Diether Ocampo ang role na dapat ay kay Sam sa nasabing serye.
