" Judy Ann Santos excited to premier 'Against All Odds' "

ACTRESS Judy Ann Santos is excited to premier her upcoming Kapamilya primetime series "Against All Odds".
After the series was moved to a later release this year, Juday shared she started taping again for the series with KC Concepcion and Sam Milby.
She said that she enjoyed working with the two as they have a good working relationship on the set.

"Blessed ako na lagi akong nakakahanap ng katrabahong comfortable, very professional, and nakakamiss din makatrabaho yung mga direktor na kasama namin. Masaya na nakakakita ka ng mga kapamilya sa production every week," she said.
Despite being the lead actress behind the hit television series "Esperanza," "Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka," "Krystala," "Sa Piling Mo," and "Ysabella," Juday said she is still nervous on how the audience would react to her new show. The series is a comeback project for Juday after a three-year layoff.

"May kaba. Hindi lang naman ako kinakabahan sa mga proyektong ginagawa ko, lalo na ngayon na may tatlong taon din akong di nakita ng tao sa teleserye. Sana yung expectations hindi masyadong matindi," she said.
But more than anything, she said she is excited to provide quality television series for the Filipino viewers.

"Excited ako kasi pinagkatiwalaan ako ng ABS at ni Sir Deo (Endrinal) sa isang magandang magandang project. Ang trabaho ko na lang ngayon ay mapatunayan na kaya kong itawid itong teleserye," she said...

MANILA, Philippines – Sam Milby is looking forward to his upcoming series "Against All Odds," where he is paired with Judy Ann Santos.

In an interview with Push.com.ph, Milby said he feels blessed that someone as established as Santos wants to work with him.

Santos is dubbed as the Queen of Philippine Soap Operas.

“Sobrang blessed ako. [For someone] of that stature, ang galing talaga and for her to want to do a project with me, grabe talaga. I can’t explain how blessed I am for her to want to do a project with me and I want to thank her for everything. And [let her know] how excited I am to do this project,” he said.

Milby said they already shot the trailer of “Against All Odds” and he is hoping that people would see their good working relationship.

“We already shot the trailer and I think si Judy Ann kahit sino ang ka-partner niya, it doesn’t matter, magsa-shine. She’s so good, so easy to work with. Nagulat ako when we were shooting the trailer. Siyempre first time. She’s so easy to work with talaga and she’s so magaling talaga. Even the teaser pa lang, grabe tinreat niya lahat ng staff and actors to pizza. Magaan talaga ang trabaho at sa pakiramdam,” he shared.

Makakasama ni Sam Milby sina KC Concepcion at Judy Ann Santos sa teleseryeng Against All Odds. Ngayon ay excited na ni Sam na makapagsimula para sa bagong proyekto.

“Blessing talaga ang project na ito, sobrang excited talaga ako,” bungad ni Sam.

Para sa aktor ay kakaiba talaga ang kanyang role sa nasabing serye.

“’Yung character ko rito talagang iba kesa sa mga roles na ginawa ko dati. Magiging challenge naman but I’m very excited. Hindi siya ’yung tipong Sam na nakikita n’yo sa mga ginawa kong roles, basta. Ayo*ko lang i-spoil kung ano ang role ko,” nakangiting sagot ng aktor.

Minsan nang nagkasama sa pelikula sina Sam at KC kaya mas magiging komportable na ang binata sa aktres sa kanilang mga gagawing eksena.

“Mas magiging madali para sa amin na we’ve worked together before. Malaking bagay to make it easier for the two of us, that we have worked together,” paliwanag ni Sam.

“Blessing talaga ang project na ito. Of course after the story conference with the whole cast, sobrang excited talaga ako,” pahayag ni Sam Milby pagkatapos ng story con para sa teleseryeng Against All Odds na pagbibidahan din nina KC Concepcion at comeback teleserye project ni Judy Ann Santos.

Ani Sam, sobrang excited siya sa kanyang magiging role. “’Yung character ko rito talagang iba kaysa sa mga roles na ginawa ko dati. Magiging challenge naman but I’m very excited.”

Offbeat daw kasi ang role kumpara sa mga dati niyang ginawa. “Hindi siya ‘yung tipong Sam na nakikita n’yo sa mga ginawa kong roles. Basta. Ayoko lang i-spoil kung ano ang role ko,” pambibitin pa niya.

Pangalawang proyekto naman nila ito ni KC na nakatrabaho na niya sa pelikulang Forever and A Day kaya advantage raw ito dahil komportable na sila sa isa’t isa. “So mas magiging madali para sa amin na we’ve worked together before. Malaking bagay to make it easier for the two of us, [the fact] that we have worked together.”

Hindi naman maipagkakaila ang kinang sa mga mata ni Sam nang banggitin na si Judy Ann ang makakasama niya rito. “Ito ang first time namin together, to be working with the Queen of Teleserye, definitely highlight sa career ko [and] buong cast din, Tito Pip (Tirso Cruz III), Tita Coney (Reyes), Jessy (Mendiola), Susan (Africa), John Estrada. It’s going to be really good.”
