Sam Milby speaks up on meeting Anne Curtis’ new boyfriend

Isa sa mga naging kontrobersiyal na breakups sa showbiz ay ang paghihiwalay nina Sam Milby at Anne Curtis noon. Ngayon ay masaya si Anne sa kanyang rumored boyfriend na si Erwann Heussaff habang si Sam naman ay single pa rin.

Muling nagkita sina Anne at Sam sa birthday party ng stylist na si Liz Uy last week. May lumabas pa na photo na magkakasama sina Sam, Anne at Erwann. Paano kaya ang naging pagkikita for the first time nina Sam at Erwann? “When I was there, wala kaming problema. Nag-hi ako sa kanilang lahat and bro hi. Nothing bad at all fun naman,” sagot ni Sam.

Sa pagiging single ni Sam ay hindi raw niya ipinagdiwang ang Valentine’s Day. “Hindi siya Valentine’s Day para sa akin, ano siya, single awareness day. Hindi naman sad. Masarap talaga na may love life pero sa ngayon, sa kasalukuyan ay wala akong kasintahan. Ginagamit ko bagong words ko, wala akong love life,” nakangiting pahayag ng binata.

May balitang binigyan daw ni Sam ng flowers si Bianca Manalo na kasamahan niya sa Happy Yipee Yehey last Valentine’s day. “Wala akong binigyan ng flowers to anyone. Sa Happy Yipee Yehey, parang nagpapasa ako ng roses to everyone tapos may natira akong dalawa pagkatapos ng song. Nang nakita ko siyempre si Toni and Mariel, may lovelife so I’ll give one to you,” kuwento pa ng aktor.

Sam comes face to face with Erwan; Zanjoe keeps mum on date with Bea

MANILA, Philippines — What happens when Anne Curtis’ ex-boyfriend Sam Milby comes face to face with her current flame Erwan Heussaff?

“Nothing ano, [nothing] bad at all,” was how Milby described his chance encounter with Erwan during the recent birthday celebration of stylist Liz Uy. Heussaff and Milby were photographed together with Curtis which was posted on Twitter.

“Even when I was there talagang wala kaming problema or anything like that. 'How you doin’?' Gano’n lang. Fun talaga,” Milby shared on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Feb. 17.

For two years now, Milby has been spending the day of hearts by his lonesome. Although he’s been linked to some of the prettiest young ladies in show business like Maja Salvador and lately Bianca Manalo, Milby remains single.

Anne, on the other hand, dated Heussaff a few times. They were sighted in gatherings, mostly personal in nature, that people suspected they’re more than friends. They were even caught vacationing together in Boracay with some friends.

Describing Valentine’s Day as “single awareness day,” the actor-singer simply finds no reason to sulk in one corner just because he’s got no one to celebrate Valentine’s Day with.

“Hindi naman sad kasi nga... masarap talaga ang may love life pero sa ngayon... kasalukuyang wala akong kasintahan... wala akong love life.”

Milby also explained giving flowers to host Bianca Manalo in a noontime show, saying there’s nothing more to it than that.

He initially denied doing so until he remembered it.

“Parang nagpapasa ako ng mga roses to everyone tapos may natira akong dalawa pagkatapos na ‘yong song. Lumapit ako. Siyempre, si Toni, Mariel may love life na. Sabi ko, okay,” he said.

If Milby was by his lonesome last Valentine's, it's a different story for Zanjoe Marudo who went out on a dinner date with his special someone, Bea Alonzo.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE

Waaah. You guys must have been sick to death of that Red Velvet cupcake in my previous post. A heart shape redundancy due to my sore lack of updates, SORRY. Last week was spent out of town and straight into a campaign shoot and a TV show. In other words, nyaarrrragerst. So here you go, as promised, Liz's Birthday Party at Robot. I didn't get to enjoy this party as much as last year.

No bad blood between Sam and Ann

MANILA, Philippines – Hunk actor Sam Milby proved to everyone that all is now well between him and former girlfriend, Anne Curtis, even if the latter already has a new partner.

A photo recently surfaced on Twitter where Milby, Curtis and her current boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff, were all together at the birthday party of celebrity stylist Liz Uy.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Thursday, Milby said that nobody should be surprised with that photo since he is not bitter over Curtis and Heussaff’s relationship.

“Si Sir Biboy ang nag-tweet niyan. I mean, even when I was there, talagang wala kaming problema or anything like that,” said Milby.

The actor even proved that there is really no bad blood between him and Heussaff.

“I even went up to Erwann and said, 'Hey bro'! How are you doing?' Ganoon lang. Nothing bad at all. Fun naman,” he said.

Curtis and Milby’s separation was one of the most publicized breakups in show business. Since the 2 decided to go separate ways last 2008, Milby has remained single while Curtis has found a new love in Heussaff.

Asked how Milby spent Valentine’s Day, the actor replied: “Hindi naman Valentine’s Day para sa akin. Ano siya, Single Awareness Day. Hindi naman sad kasi masarap talaga ang may love life pero sa kasalukuyan wala akong kasintahan. Wala akong love life.”
