Behind the pretty good image and boy next door look of Sam Milby lies a gutsy rider on his quest for speed, soaring and adrenaline rush. This famous celebrity has plagued the star biz glitz and glam since he joined Pinoy Big Brother in 2005 from his breakout stint. He has successfully claimed different titles - a stellar leading actor, a sought-after commercial model, a recording artist, and a World Vision ambassador. Sam has indeed marked his place in Philippine showbiz.

Apart from making it big on the tube, becoming a professional motocross rider has been his longtime dream. He has already won a beginner’s race last year. And now, burning more hours of practice at the dirt tracks of Speedworld Circuit in SM Bicutan, he’s more than motivated to win more tournaments this year.
This guy is a natural in the circuit. After all, racing is in his genes. His dad was the first to introduce him to motocross when he was just eleven years old while his brothers have also raced with him in the US.

Chasing this dream may be challenging for Sam. Once, he even broke his left hand. Motocross may be risky yet for this staunch rider, nothing could stop him from wheeling his passion.
Sam is more than happy to show Dyan his mastered tricks. At first, Dyan was scared to ride with Sam after watching him practice his daredevil tricks. But after Sam promised Dyan that they’ll just go on a slow pace round the circuit, Dyan decided to relax and hold on to her rider. Sam toured Dyan all throughout the Speedway, even on his favorite humps. Dyan could feel that he wanted to go faster. No worries, this racer would make you feel safe even on the dirt tracks.

Dyan also met Sam’s friends from NAMSSA (National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association). These guys not only kept Sam company but has also motivated the young actor to step up his game.
Kids as young as seven years old showed their daring moves while motocross veterans kicked off their usual high flying maneuvers. Forty-two year old Jolet Jao, who has been racing for thirty years, gave Sports Unlimited his legendary jumps. Meanwhile, twenty-year old prolific rider Kenneth San Andres also showed why he’s the reigning NAMSSA National Motocross Rider of the Year. Racing since the age of three, this boy can effortlessly hit the tracks with his airborne tricks.

Witnessing how these avid motocross riders practice is enough testament that our breed of thrill seekers can zoom, soar and top up their need for speed!
