Two months since he was featured by Internet news website Buzzfeed for being a "Dashing Pinoy Prince", Sam Milby was once again mentioned by the listing site.
Last October 14, Buzzfeed posted a list of "22 Asian Actors Who Deserve To Be Romantic Leading Men" and the Dyesebel star landed on the fourth spot of the list.
What made his inclusion a lot bigger was the fact that he was the only Filipino that made it on the said list.
His selection on the fourth spot had the description which read as: "Sam was born in Ohio, but has cultivated most of his career in the Philippines, starring in the country’s major productions Close To You and Death March, which was screened at last year’s Cannes Film Festival. The loud underrepresentation of Filipinos in American TV/film, and one young, talented heartthrob? We have our answer."
Sam was placed along the ranks of Hollywood stars such as Sendhil Ramamurthy of the now-defunct TV series Heroes, Daniel Dae Kim of crime dramas NCIS, CSI, and Hawaii Five-O and Utkarsh Ambudkar of the hit big screen musical Pitch Perfect.
Also included on the list was veteran Hollywood star George Takei, The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun, Academy Award nominee Ken Watanabe, Glee’s hunk Harry Shum and My Love Sam Soon’s actor Daniel Henney.
The Filipino-American heartthrob acknowledged the feature and even posted it on his Instagram account with the caption: “Plesantly surprised to be featured on @buzzfeedagain. Thanks Tanya & Matt
