
Two Filipino films are included in the Un Certain Regard section of the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
Adolf Alix Jr.'s Death March and Lav Diaz's Norte, Hangganan Ng Kasaysayan are among the films to be shown in the prestigious film festival.
Sam Milby and Zanjoe Marudo star in Death March, which depicts the 70-mile forced march of American and Filipino prisoners of war by Japanese forces during World War II.
Aside from Sam and Zanjoe, Death March also stars Jason Abalos, Felix Roco, Luis Alandy, Ejay Falcon and Carlo Aquino.
In 2009, Direk Adolf was able to walk on the red carpet of Cannes. He and Raya Martin co-directed the Piolo Pascual-starrer Manila, which was included in the Out-of-Competition (Special Screenings) of the 62nd Cannes Film Fest.
