MANILA, Philippines - Star Magic artists led by Piolo Pascual participated in Star Magic’s feeding program last Dec. 2 at the Teresa Heights, Fairview. Three hundred undernourished kids from depressed areas of Brgy. Pasong Putik were entertained by Tom Rodriguez, Akiko Solon and Jovit Baldivino. Jayson Gainza and Elisa’s Melissa Ricks hosted the event. Also present were Matt Evans, Princess Manzon, Coleen Garcia, Jason Francisco, Julia Montes and Sam Milby. Star Magic’s feeding program was in cooperation with Bridges to the Future and ABS-CBN’s 71 Dreams.
Star Magic organized the formal turn-over of checks to the beneficiaries of two successful events last Dec. 8 at the 14th floor of ELJ Bldg. The Gerald Anderson Basketball Tournament Star Magic vs ASAP last Nov. 13 was spearheaded by Gerald himself. Robi Domingo and Enchong Dee represented Gerald to hand the check to Cancer Warriors Foundation and Cottolengo Filipim Inc. representatives. The benefit show, A Night to Give Back, held last Nov. 20 in Tomas Morato was successful. Piolo and Sam shared how proud they are to perform and look forward to be part of more shows with a cause. The proceeds were given to Elsie Gatches Village, Reception and Study Center for Childresn (RSCC), Sanctuary Center and ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya. The event was attended by 71 Dreams’ Fr. Tito Caluag, Star Magic head Johnny Manahan, Julia, Robi, Joem Bascon, Coleen and Enchong.

Sam Milby, Kapamilya stars extend aid to 'Sendong' victims | ABS-CBN News | Latest Philippine Headlines, Breaking News, Video, Analysis, Features
MANILA, Philippines – Actor Sam Milby and several Kapamilya stars flew in to Cagayan de Oro City Wednesday afternoon to extend assistance to victims of tropical storm Sendong.
Milby, Maricar Reyes, Rafael Rosel and Jake Cuenca helped the Sagip Kapamilya personnel distribute relief goods in City Central School.
Aside from relief packs, the Kapamilya stars gave inspiration to the flood-stricken population who were delighted to see their favorite celebrities reaching out to them.
Aware of the hardships faced by the flood-stricken community in Cagayan de Oro, the Kapamilya stars themselves appealed for continuous support in the ongoing relief operations.
“Nandito po kami para mag-encourage sa mga tao, mag-pledge, mag-volunteer, magtulung-tulong,” Rosel said.

Hindi nakalimutan nina Eugene Domingo, Sen. Bong Revilla at iba pang bituin ang kanilang pag-alala sa mga taga-Northern Mindanao sa gitna ng kasiyahan sa premiere ng kani-kanilang film fest entries.
“Huwag na tayong magdamot. Lumabas tayo, i-donate natin. Magtulungan tayo,” pahayag ni Eugene.
Sabi naman ni Bong, “Huwag tayong mawalan ng pag-asa.”
Kahit busy bilang horror princess, tutulong si Kathryn Bernardo sa ABS-CBN Telethon kasama ang iba pang Star Magic talents.
Nakita mismo ni Vice Ganda ang kalunus-lunos na sitwasyon ng mga survivors ng trahedya.
Kuwento niya, “Nakakabagabag ‘yung itsura ng mga tao. Putikan, tapos ‘yung mga bata, ‘yung mga buntis, mga naka-paa. Nakakadurog na ng puso. Kumbaga, wala akong karapatang magreklamo.”
